Dr. Elizabeth Leon established West Plano Pediatrics in 1995. She graduated from the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago, and completed her residency at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. She has served on the pediatric peer review committee, and volunteered as a guest speaker for a local parenting class. Dr. Leon is board certified in pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Leon writes and shares about her own personal parenting techniques of raising three boys. Her blogs include topics such as financial awareness, memory making ideas, and understanding your child’s love language. To read the blogs, you will find them in the blog section of this website.
One of the joys of practicing medicine for over 20 years is seeing her patients graduate from high school. Here are a few quotes from her senior graduates: “Dr. Leon always had a smile and made going to the doctor a comfortable experience.” “It was always great coming in and seeing the friendliest doctor!” “Dr. Leon is always so nice and caring, and answers my questions clearly and thoroughly.”
Outside of the office, Dr. Leon is advising and preparing her eldest son who is starting college, guiding her second son who will be a junior in high school, and playing with her youngest son who completed Kindergarten. In addition to her family commitments, she is involved with her church ministries such as attending Bible studies and teaching Sunday School. She enjoys cooking, reading, and playing the piano whenever there is a quiet moment in the house.
