Dear West Plano Pediatrics Patients and Families,
This announcement is to reassure our patients with Blue Cross and Blue Shield (BCBS) that we still accept most BCBS plans. The only exception is we are not currently accepting new patients with BCBS HMO plans; however pre-existing patients are not affected.
In addition, although we are affiliated with and on medical staff at UTSW/ Texas Health Resources Plano (THR PLANO), we are an independent pediatric medical practice, and our patients are not affected by UTSW/THR’s decision to not accept BCBS insurance plans at this time.
Services at actual UTSW/ THR Plano hospitals i.e. ER, labs, imaging, and surgical services may not be covered. Our provider services would not be affected.
