We appreciate everyone who has inquired via email or in person about obtaining the COVID-19 vaccine for your child. We have applied through the federal government. Unfortunately, we do not know when our allotment will arrive and will update you when available. Below you will find our suggestions on where you can obtain your COVID-19 immunization successfully without delay.
- Dallas County Health Department: Appointment only. Find out more by following the link below: https://www.dallascounty.org/departments/dchhs/immunization-hours.php
- Locate your local pharmacy via https://www.vaccines.gov/. Call to make sure they can provide your child with the proper immunization and schedule your appointment.
- For children 5 and older, Connie at Caring Rx Pharmacy in our building in suite 270 will continue to give vaccines on a walk-in basis Monday through Friday 9:30am – 4:30pm.
Many of our families have had great success with these options.
Also do not forget all kids 5 and up may receive their COVID-19 booster dose as recommended by the AAP and CDC at least 5 months from their second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID vaccine.
